Food, food, and more food!

I love food...usually.

In the past two months or so, I have tried rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, avocados, carrots, pears, bananas, spinach, zucchini, squash, apples, cheerios, whole wheat bread pieces, and teething biscuits. And I have liked all of it...well, mostly all of it. My mama can usually trick me into finishing my food by adding some oatmeal and milk to mostly anything, and I will gobble it down.

Do you know what happens when a baby gets solid foods? Chew-eeeee!! I never knew my diapers could be so smelly, and I am not sure what is going on down there, but it can certainly be stressful at times. Mostly only when I eat carrots so my mama says I can take a break and try them again in a month or so.

So far, I make for a good vegetarian. When do I get that steak and potatoes??

Sometimes when I am getting distracted or fussy while I eat, my mama throws her head back and says "oh! life's so tough!," and I like to mock her. :)

Is it just me or is that a Buddha belly?

No More Bumpers!

Today, my mama and daddy packed up my baby bumpers because I have decided that I like to sleep on my tummy. It makes my parents a little nervous. Now my crib seems like a big boy bed!

My First Spring

My mama and daddy took me to the Arboretum today to see all of the pretty tulips. I loved the pretty colors and being in the warm sun.

My parents walked me around and showed me lots of trees and flowers.

I was very curious, but then my curiosity gave way to sleep.

I thought it was funny when my parents were trying to get a family shot using their new camera remote. Come on guys, I looked!! Where were you??

I even got my first sunburn!

Tummy to Sitting Up

When my mama and daddy woke up and came to get me this morning, I greeted them sitting on my bum. They were really confused because I went to sleep on my back. They know that I like to roll around in the night, but they were shocked to find me sitting up. Later that day, they lowered my mattress for the second time in a week.
